Recognizing the importance of social interaction, Seoul has launched the ‘Vitality Recharge Project,’ investing over 200 billion won through 2032 to establish ‘Vitality Recharge Centers’ and ‘Vitality Recharge Stations.’ These facilities provide leisure, health, and digital experiences, encouraging seniors to engage in community activities and maintain active lifestyles.
Technological Support
To ensure the safety and health of seniors, Seoul is incorporating advanced technologies into elderly care services. AI-based care robots, such as companion robot dogs and rehabilitation robots, are being deployed to assist seniors in their daily lives.
